DeployHQ offers flexible subscription plans to match your deployment needs. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time through your account settings.

Available Plans

DeployHQ offers several plans with different features and limits:

  • Free: 1 project, 5 servers, 30 build minutes/month
  • Solo: 3 projects, 15 servers, 200 build minutes/month
  • Pro: 10 projects, 50 servers, unlimited builds
  • Business: 20 projects, 100 servers, unlimited builds
  • Enterprise: 50+ projects, 250+ servers, unlimited builds

Accessing the Plans Page

  1. Log in to your DeployHQ account
  2. Navigate to Settings in the top navigation bar
  3. Select Subscription Plans

You'll see all available plans displayed as cards with their features, pricing, and a toggle to view monthly or yearly pricing.

Viewing Pricing Options

At the top of the plans page, you can toggle between monthly and yearly pricing:

  • Monthly view: Shows standard monthly prices
  • Yearly view: Shows discounted yearly pricing (1 month free) with a badge indicating the savings

The pricing toggle helps you compare costs and see the yearly discount benefit before making a change.

Upgrading Your Plan

For Trial and Free Accounts

When upgrading from a trial or free account to a paid plan:

  1. Click the Upgrade button on the plan card you want
  2. A billing dialog will appear asking for:
    • Billing contact information
    • Billing address
    • Payment card details (securely processed via Stripe)
    • Billing frequency preference (monthly or yearly)
  3. Review and confirm your billing information
  4. Click Proceed to create your invoice
  5. Complete the payment to activate your new plan

Your new plan limits become active immediately after payment is processed.

For Existing Paid Accounts

When upgrading from one paid plan to another:

  1. Click the Upgrade button on the plan card you want
  2. The system will automatically:
    • Calculate any prorated charges
    • Apply applicable discounts (such as yearly billing discounts)
    • Generate an invoice if payment is required
  3. Complete payment if an invoice is generated
  4. Your new plan limits become active immediately

Downgrading Your Plan

Downgrading requires completing a brief feedback survey to help us improve our service.

Downgrade Process

  1. Click the Downgrade button on the plan card you want (or Cancel Trial if you're on a trial)
  2. Review the confirmation dialog explaining what benefits you'll lose
  3. Click Downgrade to proceed to the survey
  4. Complete the feedback survey with:
    • Reason for downgrading
    • Ratings for speed, support, and usability
    • Any additional feedback
  5. Submit the survey

After completing the survey, your plan change will be scheduled to take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You'll retain access to your current plan features until then.

Before Downgrading

Make sure your account doesn't exceed the new plan limits: - Number of projects: Remove excess projects before downgrading - Number of servers: Delete unused servers to meet the limit - Number of users: Remove additional users if the new plan doesn't support multiple users

If you exceed the limits, you'll be prompted to remove excess resources before the downgrade can be completed.

Trial Accounts

If you're on a trial: - You can upgrade to any paid plan at any time using the Continue or Upgrade button - Upgrading ends your trial period and starts regular billing - All trial data and configurations are preserved - You can also downgrade to the free plan using the Cancel Trial button

Important Notes

  • Plan changes for free accounts don't require payment
  • Only account administrators can change plans
  • Upgrades take effect immediately after payment
  • Downgrades require completing a feedback survey and take effect at the start of your next billing cycle
  • Applicable discounts are automatically applied during upgrades
  • Yearly billing offers one month free (see our yearly discount article)
