"Couldn't decode deployment request" when using automatic deployments

When using automatic deployments with self-hosted repositories, you may see the following error:

Couldn't decode deployment request

This most likely means there is no repository host set, which DeployHQ requires to be able to recognise which repository hosting provider the payload has been sent from.

You'll need to make sure you select the appropriate repository host from the dropdown in your repository configuration:
