We're pleased to announce some improvements to Slack notifications for deployments today, with the deployment information sent to Slack in their enhanced format.
When setting up a new notification you'll find a new Rich text message with extended information included? option checked, below the Message Format in its settings. As a result, future deployments will send the improved notification to Slack:
Previous, uncustomised notifications will now carry the new format on all deployments from today, which can be reverted to the older style simply by unchecking the Rich text option. Any existing Slack notifications with a custom Message Format have been left as they are.
